Tomorrow is the big day!

After a year and a half, we are finally going to have our own place in Mound City.  The movers are coming tomorrow and the fun begins.  I have to admit, eventhough I should be overjoyed,  I find myself getting sad because it makes our move here pretty final.  Plus, this the first move we have ever made without my mom and dad helping unpack.  Mom and I would do the unpacking and dad would corral the kids so they didn't trip the movers, get lost in the boxes and occassionally he would help lift the heavy boxes or hang pictures.  Eventhough it will be an exciting day, dad will missed and thought of frequently in days to come.    Robert's mom now gets to experience this with us.  She came up yesterday to help with the girls and I'm thankful she is here to help.

Anyway a few picture before you get to see the moving pictures. 

Emma's Room----She requested a Japanese Garden so this was the best I could do with my limited artistic ability.

Abby's Room----She didn't have any particular request other than pink, so I went with the flower theme to match her bedspread.

Audrey's Room---That will be later because we haven't painted it yet because her bedspread is still in storage.  I don't want to paint it a pink that doesn't match just perfect:)

The next few days will be busy since I have 6 days to get the house in order since I am having Tuesday Club at my house on March 8th!  Call me crazy:) 



Found my cord, now I can update my blog!!!

Thanks to some good harassing by the people that I call friends, I searched and searched and finally found my camera cord in a drawer that it should have never been in.  I'll blame it on the kids:)  Here is what has happened on the house since my last post. 

Laundry room is pretty much done other than grout, baseboard and casing!!!!

We are definitely getting closer.  We have all the tiling done, now the grouting begins.  We have to finish the hardwood floors & carpet so hopefully in few weeks we will be in the house. 

Keep harrassing me about blogging!!!  I really works:)

Robert was working on the house so the girls and I packed a lunch and ate at the house with him.    I look forward to eatting in the house with walls and a table:)
