Basement now!  The whole in the wall is a cubby that will have cushions and pillows for the girls.  The door on the left is Emma's room

Downstairs bathroom before

Heading to the new downstairs bathroom.   These two doors are Abby and Audrey's room which are down the hallway the sheetrock guy is walking down.

This is looking from the stairs downstairs.  The door originally went into an unfinished storeroom.

Now it goes into the 4th bedroom downstairs.

Our first meal!

Robert was working on the house so the girls and I packed a lunch and ate at the house with him.    I look forward to eatting in the house with walls and a table:)

YEAH....siding is on!

So the house now looks pretty much complete...that is from the outside!

This is what it looked like originally....

This is now!

Progress, progress, progress

With the mice gone, termite damage gone, mold gone we are cooking now. All inside renovations are done, new walls are up, plumbing is done and insulation in.

This is looking from our bedroom into the bathroom.  The room on the right is the closet, you can see the bathtub and on the left you can see the shower base.

This is the same area....Now a bathtub is in front of the window, on either side of the window is the toilet room and closet

These two pictures are taken from the same spot.  The old master bedroom and the new master bathroom

While on the subject of natural habitat.....

Some of nature's creature that inhabitated our home prior to demolition.....

Termites!!!!....this is the back wall of the basement when we took off the paneling.....NICE!!!   Luckily these are old runs and the termites have been killed before getting into the floor...thank goodness!  This is one of about 4 areas that had damage, but one picture pretty much covers all 4 areas!

Mice!!!!!!!  This is one 16 in section of the walls.   This picture pretty much exemplifies the majority of the walls in the house..... that's about how many mice skeletons we pulled out of the house.   I seriously think we housed the mouse cemetery for Northwest Missouri.

Makes you all want to come for a visit doesn't it:)

Now for the fruits of my outdoor labors.....

So I spend the day in the yard and after clearing the area, with the exception of a few "weeds" i didn't get because I got side tracked when (as seen above) I stumble across this cute little snake in his natural habitat.......

This is what I get for messing with the snake's natural habitat........

POISON IVY...and these pictures are after two weeks, two shots and medicine out the ying yang!!!!

Outside work!

Robert and my nephew Drew decided to do some outside work while the weather was still good.  Talk about a big project....we had a shrub row that lined the back of our property.....

This is how big all of them where!!!  Not a job for a shovel and Robert's muscles:)

Drew is about 6 ft tall and half of that shrub is flat against the bed of the trailer.  These suckers were HUGE!!!!!!

Wow, you can see the vineyard.....

and the golf course from ground level!

Wow, I guess it's been awhile since I last posted!!!

I didn't realize until signing on that it's been since September since I have posted any pics.  As of today, the house actually looks like a house from the outside and inside!  Before I begin with the pics, I'll back up and catch you up with the progress.  After we took off the siding, changed some windows around and had to re-sheath the whole house,  we finally got the outside shell done and windows put in.....all except one window in the back of the house.

This used to have one window toward the front of the house and one window towards the back.  We moved them closer to together since we don't need a window in our closet.

This is the back of the house and there will eventually be a window above the picture window.  The doors were the last thing in so they keep moving big items in and out of the house.

This is from in front of the ladies tee box.
